Lindsey Cowen
President
Lindsey grew up in an equestrian family in the UK, competing in Pony Club and the British Show Pony Society before moving to Australia in 1997. She has since been involved in para dressage and is now enjoying side-saddle riding while supporting her children’s equestrian journeys. A Montessori educator and business owner, Lindsey is passionate about fostering a love for horses within the club.
Anthea McPhee
Secretary
Anthea’s riding journey began in Albany at Izzafield Stables, where she not only learned to ride but also took on a working role, assisting with lessons and pony care. After moving to Margaret River in 2012 and taking a break to complete her degree, she returned to the equestrian world. Passionate about dressage and jumping, Anthea became the main event organiser for the show jumping committee in 2021. Anthea loves being part of Pony Club and supporting its growth.

Francesca began riding in the UK with the Portman Pony Club, focusing on hunting and jumping. After traveling the world as a private chef, she has returned to her equestrian roots and is now pursuing a jumping career with her Stockhorse x Thoroughbred, Louie.

Lee Gillan
Lee's journey with horses began alongside her daughter's Pony Club experience over a decade ago. Passionate about Australian Heritage Breeds, she and her family breed and work with Australian Walers and Stock Horses on their farm in Rosabrook, where they also run an agistment facility. A dedicated member of Margaret River Horse & Pony Club since 2018, Lee loves being part of the local horse community and supporting the next generation of riders.
